The 6th Annual Port Credit Comedy Festival is set to return to Mississauga. The comedy festival is happening from February 15th -18th at Clarke Memorial Hall in the heart of Port Credit! Acts scheduled to perform are one of Canada’s most recognizable comedians — Comedy Central’s Mike Bullard. Bullard will be hosting the closing comedy show on Sunday, February 18.
Port Credit Comedy Festival performers include :
Jon Dore – A talented Canadian comedian who has been on television as of late, with exposure spanning across CBS’ Emmy Award winning hit series, How I Met Your Mother, as well as a lead role on ABC’s How To Live With Your Parents. In addition to acting, Dore has an impressive writing resume that includes The Comedy Network’s The Jon Dore Show, CBC’s Just for Laughs, and HBO’s popular Funny As Hell.
Courtney Gilmour – One of Toronto’s fastest rising comedy talents, Courtney delivered a breakout performance at the 2017 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal by winning the Homegrown Comics Competition and filming a set for Kevin Hart’s new LOL Network. In fact, she’s already been selected to perform at Toronto’s JFL42 as well as the 2018 Just For Laughs Festival in a taping for the Comedy Network.
Nathan Macintosh – Recently made his network television debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on CBS. He has also appeared on Conan on TBS, Gotham Comedy LIVE for AXS TV, his own half hour special shown on The Comedy Network/CTV, and Just For Laughs All Access and Talk Of The Fest.
Other notable comics who will be performing stand-up comedy include: Nick Nemeroff, Amish Patel, and Gavin Mitts. Previous years saw other notable comics such as Sean Cullens, Mark Forward, Darcy Michael perform stand-up comedy as well. The cast of comics slated to perform will make for a hilarious and dynamic few nights of entertainment, with each comic having their own style and unique comedy set.
