Members of Arts on the Credit have written and designed a brand new cookbook titled Art Bites which contains intimacy through its personal collection of stories along with delicious recipes that the book contains. In the book, each artist shares a favourite family recipe with an anecdote explaining his or her connection to the recipe. These recipes provide a glimpse of family history as well as a shared national culture. Each recipe will contain either a picture, photograph or a textile image accompanied with it. These images are designed specifically for each recipe. Some of the individual artwork from the book will be for sale at the book launch, which occurs on March 22, 6:30–8:30 at Art World Gallery, 365 Evans Ave., Suite 101.
People will be able to have their own purchased copy of Art Bites autographed by the folks who made the book at the book launch.
