The Berenstain Bears is a title, which has been popularized through the Berenstain Bears books, and a television show, which aired from 1985-1987 on CBS Saturday Mornings, followed by a revamped version of the television show which aired from 2003-2004 for three seasons. Stan and Jan Berenstain, said the subjects of their books have been based on their experiences as parents or grandparents. “It began with the simple idea of arming kids with information,” Stan said, “Such as what to expect when going to the doctor’s or dentist’s office.” The musical communicates family values and is ultimately family friendly.

The live performed musical version of this classic children’s story comes to the Living Arts Centre to captivate audiences with the rich storytelling that is a part of the play. Both children and adults alike will enjoy seeing these fictional characters come alive on the stage. The show occurs on March 13 – March 14 at 12:30 and 3:00 PM.

Tickets can be purchased through the Living Arts Centre box office or online at : http://www.livingartscentre.ca/theatre-performances/the-berenstain-bears-live-18
