Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. Presentation

The holiday spirit was alive at the Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. Head office (2020 Meadowvale Blvd.) on December 13, 2012, as the Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) Executive Director, Linda Thomas had the opportunity to present a collaborative painting done by Mississauga artists, Claudio Ghirardo and Jane Motyka. Linda was joined by Eva. E. Liebermann, Vice President, Information Systems & Operations and Ray Patrick, President of Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. (in the left photo), along with over 100 Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. employees who gathered around the festive Christmas tree in the front lobby. The work of art is a beautiful culmination of the work done by the artists during MAC’s 30^th Anniversary, Create, Enjoy & Celebrate Programme that took place at Celebration Square this past summer.

Artists, Ghirardo and Motyka pushed their creative boundaries in order to produce this 100% unique and collaborative masterpiece using only Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd products during a live impromptu performance in the open court of Celebration Square (300 City Centre Dr.) during MAC’s 30^th Anniversary festivities.

In unveiling the painting, Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. President, Ray Patrick exclaimed, “Being involved in this unique opportunity allowed us to both showcase our brand and foster our relationship with the local business community. As a company, Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd. is committed to continuing Mary Kay Ash's legacy of making a difference, and we believe that begins right here on our doorstep. This was a significant moment for the Mississauga Arts Council, celebrating 30 years of being the art and soul of Mississauga, valuing creativity and unique ventures.
