MAC Releases the Limelight Toolkit!
Limelight Association of Young Artists is excited to announce the launch of the Limelight Toolkit, a publication which will assist young artists in growing and launching their careers. The toolkit features information on grants, mentorship, portfolios and galleries, alongside advice from more established artists on how to make your art your livelihood. The kit was created in partnership with Ryerson University. “We’re thrilled to work with Ryerson University in the creation of the Limelight Toolkit. Limelight has been instrumental in creating an environment where young artists can prepare for future careers, and this toolkit is another tool young artists can use to launch themselves to the next level.” said Linda Thomas, executive director of the Mississauga Arts Council. “Artists and performers from all genres will benefit from this guide, as it discusses everything they need to know; from grants to mentorship to networking.” Please click here to download the Limelight Toolkit Please continue reading for more details about Limelight and what it has to offer.
