Kick off the summer at Celebration Square on Victoria Day Weekend with the MACArts Festival on Saturday May 21.
Celebration Square’s first festival of the season has never been so full of talent. This year MAC is bringing 20 acts to the mainstage from across the city, including three headline worthy-acts; local legend Tom Barlow, sensational songstress Stephanie Braganza and international hit-maker Raghav is coming from India for the event.
The MARTY Winning All Masters Lion Dance takes the stage with acrobats and Chinese lion dancers who will share great luck with the crowd.
After a decade entertaining children across the GTA, Sonshine and Broccoli are bringing their hit single “It’s a Beautiful Day” to the Celebration Square Stage.
Talented musicians of Meadowvale Secondary School take the stage with their award winning 20 piece jazz band. Previous shows sold out, so get there early!
The festival also features fashion highlights from Mississauga Fashion Week, previewing what’s to come for the 2017 runway.
Offstage MAC creates a village ambience with some of the city’s most talented artists and craftspeople. Paintings, crafts, toys and food – delicious food!
The MACArts Festival takes place in Mississauga’s Celebration Square on May 21, from 1 – 11p.m.
