Call for Films

The second annual TD MACArts festival is looking for film submissions!

The Mississauga Arts Council is looking for film shorts to screen in the Noel Ryan Auditorium from 12 – 6 p.m. on May 21st, 2016.

We’re looking for films that celebrate the diversity within community and embrace the theme of the festival – “Bringing the World Together”.

Films need to be connected to the local area, but can feature global themes. Local connections can include local stories, issues, crews or locations. Global themes can include locations, stories or issues.

We will accept and screen unrated submissions, but please bear in mind that we’re hoping to have this festival accessible to families. We’re using a slightly modified version of the Ontario Film Review Board’s PG rating. Please contact us if you need further guidance.

Please review the Rules and Regulations outlined here. Submissions are due April 15th at 4 p.m.

To submit your film, fill out the form below or drop off your file at the MAC office.
