The Trail is a self guided tour through some of the best arts galleries, studios and unconventional venues Port Credit has to offer! It features 25 local artists across 14 stops. They’re also showcasing at our MACArts Festival on September 19.

Episode 14 – MAC Talks: Shane Driver’s Broken
Tune in to MAC Episode 14: Return of the Isaac as he reclaims the hosting chair for a live reading and interview with Mississaugan writer Shane Driver. Shane is the author of a recently published book titled Broken. The collection of 13 autobiographical short stories take place in Oakville and tell the tale of Shane’s youth. Musician Zameer Rizvi will be bookending the show with two of his tracks. Be sure see him live at the MACArts Festival on the Celebration Square main stage on September 19th!

Craving something Indian? Learn all about Malati and Geetha’s new cookbook called The Udupi Kitchen. It is a collection of home style South-Asian recipes put together by this local Mother-Daughter culinary duo. Anu Vittal asks the pair all about the book, Indian food, and their professional family relationship. For the music feature, Saxman Patrick Panus brings on the tunes with some smooth Jazz.
