MAC PROGRAMS

The Mississauga Arts Council works towards reigniting, inspiring an building the artistic expression of the city and to engage our membership at the neighbourhood level. This is a multi-focused approach that includes providing more opportunities for artists from all disciplines to showcase their work, participate in our thriving artistic community, network with artists and arts professionals, create learning programs through workshops, seminars and conferences, offer networking opportunities, and provide mentorship/job training to youth interested in pursuing a career in the creative industries.

Programs introduced by MAC are building on the foundation of community relationships with arts groups, artists, and social service centres across Mississauga. They are devised keeping in mind the objective to nurture and expand relationships within the community and at the neighbourhood levels.
