Mississauga Fashion Week is hosting their Fashion Insight New Year Edition show this Saturday, January 27 in the heart of the city. A line up of five diverse designers from Hamilton, Toronto and Mississauga will be displaying their work in the fashion industry through this exclusive fashion show. Fashion designers who will be showcasing their work include 401 Clothing, Pop Sauvage, Green Dress Designs, Shanzay Wazir, and Zoba Martin. The guest of honor of the evening is Adrian Arnerie, a Mississauga-based designer and a Ryerson Fashion School graduate. One of his collection pieces made it to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards red carpet, worn by ET Canada host Sangita Patel. Adrian will be will sharing a few words with the audience at the event.
Fashion Insight New Year Edition will take place at &Company Resto Bar, a large and lavish setting located close to Square One featuring antique finished metal installations. With 1960’s Hollywood glam decor, it’s the perfect backdrop for MFW’s first show of the year. Audience members will be able to enjoy food and drinks from &Company’s in-house restaurant.
Mississauga Fashion Week was created in support of Beauty Against Brutality’s campaign called, “Fashion for Hunger.” Beauty Against Brutality does not only focus on outer beauty and glamour of the models, but rather on their mental, social and physical well-being as well.
The show will begin at 8:15 pm, sharp. Media are requested to arrive by 7:30 pm in order to cover the red carpet. &Company Resto Bar is located at 295 Enfield Pl., Mississauga.
