An act of civil disobedience turns into a standoff with police when those experiencing homelessness takes over the public library to seek shelter from the bitter cold. Join us for a panel discussion afterwards hosted by Kevin Berry, Mississauga Library’s Homelessness Prevention Outreach Worker and Rahma Hashi, Toronto Public Library’s Social Worker.

Social agencies and the City of Mississauga staff speak about their services for at-risk populations.
