Paul Edward Costa is a writer, teacher, host, and spoken word artist who has published over fifty stories, articles, and poems in periodicals such as Aphelion: The Webzine of Science Fiction and Fantasy, Crack the Spine Literary Magazine, Inside the Bell Jar, Entropy Magazine, and REAL: Regarding Arts and Letters; his novella Dark Magic on the Edge of Town” was put out by Paperback-Press. He’s also been published in semi-pro markets such as Brick Books and Alt-Minds Literary Magazine. Paul hosts the YTGA Open Mic Series at Studio.89 in Mississauga and has been a featured performer at several spoken word events in the Greater Toronto Area. He was a finalist for the 2018 MARTY Award in Emerging Literary Arts. He currently teaches high school English at Mississauga Secondary School.
