On Saturday June 2, the Streetsville Founders’ Bread and Honey Festival will once again host Sauga’s Teens Got Talent singing contest produced by the Mississauga Arts Council and sponsored by Metalworks Institute.

“We loved the contest last year and the talent was unbelievable. We were so proud of the performers and had to have MAC bring it back again,” said Sandra Pitts, Streetsville Festival Director.

20 teenage singers from Mississauga are expected to compete for music industry courses from Metalworks Institute and the first place finisher wins a recording session at Metalworks Studios.

Metalworks Studios is home to Drake and many of the world’s greatest recording artists, and has won the best studio in Canada award 17 times!

Last year’s winner Kendra Charest-French went on to win at Rotary Singfest and is currently writing and recording with Metalworks.
