Rob Tardik is a multi-award winning guitarist and contemporary pop/jazz instrumental music artist. Rob’s 6th album SYNERGY was released in 2018 with the first single Synergy debuting as one of the most added on the Billboard Smooth Jazz charts. His recent awards include being a finalist in the 2019 International Songwriting Competition and winning the 2018 Established Solo Music Instrumental Mississauga Arts Award.
Host: Alessia Cohle
After the successful release of her single Love Gone Right, Alessia Cohle has been putting her own stamp on country music. She recently released a new EP, Wild Eyed Wanderer. Alessia performed as part of the house-band at CCMA Music Week 2016 & 2017. She is the recipient of the 2018 Established Vocalist Mississauga Arts Award and the 2017 Ron Lenyk Inspiring Youth Arts Award.
The Dreamboats are bringing back good ol’ fashioned Rock n’ Roll! With a sound that is equal parts Chuck Berry & The Wonders, this quartet of Mississauga boys delivers a high energy, nostalgic show. In July 2019, The Dreamboats will be releasing their a new single titled Water Under The Bridge and beginning a multi-week tour spanning across northern United States and Canada. They won the 2018 Emerging Group MARTY Award.
Anjelica Scannura is a highly accomplished dancer, choreographer, adjudicator and actress. She has performed and taught all over the world, including the USA, Europe, Caribbean and Middle East. She, along with family-run dance and music ensemble Ritmo Flamenco, have produced countless sold-out concerts at the Harbourfront Centre and Mississauga’s own Living Arts Centre. Anjelica won the 2018 Established Dance MARTY.
ABshek (Abhishek Venkatachalam) is an award-winning singer, songwriter, music composer, and producer. Trained at the Metalworks Institute, he is the winner of Astro International Supterstar and the 2018 Emerging Vocalist MARTY Award. In addition to his extensive training in Indian and Western Classical Music, he has significant studio and performing experience in Hindi, Tamil, English Pop, and R&B/Soul.
Multi-instrumentalist Mason Victoria is no stranger in the jazz community. He has directed one of the largest big bands in Toronto, the 21-piece Sonuskapos Jazz Orchestra, and arranged and composed for several groups including the Shaw Street Collective and Toronto Jazz Orchestra. Mason is the winner of the 2018 Emerging Instrumental Music MARTY Award and the Ron Lenyk Inspiring Youth Award.
