Cranberry Christmas Market

The Cranberry Christmas Market is Mississauga Arts Council’s annual curated holiday event, showcasing the very best of our city’s local artisans, makers, and food vendors.

Held each December at Clarke Memorial Hall, Cranberry Christmas Market is the perfect event to find unique, handcrafted gifts while enjoying festive live entertainment. Whether you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind treasure or a delicious seasonal treat, you’ll find something for everyone on your holiday list.

MAC believes in the spirit of giving! Each year, we partner with local charities to make the most of our market:

  • The Compass Food Bank: Admission is FREE, but we kindly ask guests to bring a donation of non-perishable food or personal hygiene items. View their most-needed items here.
  • Epilepsy South Central Ontario: Take the stress out of your holiday prep! Professional gift wrapping is available on-site by donation, with all proceeds supporting Epilepsy South Central Ontario’s vital programs.

Call for Vendor Details

Dates

Apply to become a vendor at the Cranberry Christmas Market at Clarke Memorial Hall (161 Lakeshore Rd W, Mississauga, ON L5H 1G3) on Saturday, December 12, 2026.

Applications are due before 5 PM on October 5, 2026.

Successful vendors will be notified within two (2) weeks of the application deadline to confirm their participation, sign their agreement, and pay their registration fee.

We will also have a waitlist for vendors – if a vendor with similar products has to cancel for some reason, an artist from our waitlist will be called to participate.

The official public announcement of the 2026 vendor list will take place in November.


Eligibility

MAC will review all submissions after the deadline to curate the market. Priority will be given to Mississauga-based artists. The market is curated to ensure a vibrant and diverse variety of high-quality products.

Vendor Fees

If your application is approved, the following fees and requirements will apply:

  • Registration Fee: $50 (due upon acceptance).
    • Includes: One (1) 6-foot table, two (2) chairs, and all liability insurance required by the venue.
    • Limit: Each vendor is strictly limited to one (1) table this year.
  • MAC Membership Requirement: All participating vendors must hold an active MAC Membership.
    • Cost: $40/year for individuals | $30/year for students and seniors.
    • Status Check: Not sure if your membership is active? Email us at info@macarts.ca to check.
    • Purchase/Renew: You can easily purchase or renew your membership directly through the application form.

Registration Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. 


Terms and Details

Vendors are responsible for all decoration and display on their own tables including table cloths. If you have an unusal or non-table top display (floor rack, extra-tall stand etc), please include a description below, so MAC can determine if the display is appropriate and plan the market layout to accommodate the display. 

Please indicate if you require electricity at your table. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, but do not guarantee electricity will be available for all tables. Location of tables is determined by MAC, location requests cannot be guaranteed.

Vendors are responsible for all of their own sales (cash, etransfer, and/or credit card, if applicable). MAC will not take any commissions on sales and will not process any monetary transactions on behalf of vendors.

Clarke Memorial Hall has free WiFi (Wireless Mississauga).

Vendors are responsible for loading in and out their own products. Please note that Clarke Memorial Hall has a set of stairs at the entrance and access to the building’s elevator will be limited. If you require assistance, please bring someone to help you. Load-in times will be staggered to ensure smooth setup. ALL Vendors MUST have their table set up by 10:45am at the latest.

This event will be recorded/photographed and may be used for program-related marketing for Mississauga Arts Council.

This is a family-friendly event, and as such, your items for sale and decorum must be suitable for all ages.


⚠️ Important: Protect Yourself from Scams!

With vendor applications opening, we want to ensure our wonderful creative community stays safe from active online scammers. Please read our official security policies carefully:

1. Application & Communication Protocol

  • Official Applications Only: Applications must be submitted through MAC’s official Jotform link above. We do not accept applications via direct email or other software. Any external platform claiming to process applications for this event is fraudulent.
  • Authorized Email Addresses Only: Our team will only ever contact you regarding this market from three verified email addresses. Any communication from other domains (such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) is fake:

  • No Social Media Outreach: MAC will never contact you through social media (such as Instagram or Facebook Direct Messages) regarding your application status, table availability, or to request personal details.

2. Fees & Payment Safety

  • No Upfront Application Fees: There is no fee to apply. MAC will never ask for payment at the time of your application.
  • No High-Pressure Tactics: We will never pressure you into making an immediate payment to “save your spot.” Accepted vendors will always be given a reasonable, clear payment window as outlined in their official acceptance letter.
  • Secure Payment Methods: MAC will never request an e-transfer unless you, the artist, explicitly request this method. We will never ask for payment via cryptocurrency, gift cards, prepaid cards, or third-party transfer apps (e.g., Venmo, CashApp).

3. Space Allocation & Fraud Prevention

Verification Support: If you receive an email, call, or message regarding the Cranberry Christmas Market and feel uncertain about its authenticity, please contact us immediately at info@macarts.ca. We will gladly work with you to verify the communication.

Booths are Strictly Non-Transferable: Vendor spaces cannot be bought, sold, or transferred between artists. If you see individuals in social media comments claiming to “sell their booth space” because they can no longer attend, this is a scam. Any open spots will be filled strictly by MAC organizers from our official waitlist.
