Project: Shards of Verse Poetry Book
Pratap Reddy used his Matchmaker MicroGrant to self-publish his new volume of poetry, “Shards of Verse,” which was released on December 15, 2024.
The collection is a unique blend of poems spanning genres, offering the author’s perspectives on life, art, people, and more.
With support from the MicroGrant, Pratap published and sold 250 printed copies, made the book available on Amazon, and secured sales through Indigo at three Mississauga locations, three Toronto locations, as well as in Hamilton and Burlington. He also promoted the work by reading excerpts at local Writers Group meetings, community events, and at Melody Village School in Etobicoke.
