Sherri Parliament has driven dynamic and results-focused communications at the Mississauga Arts Council since January 2020, orchestrating strategic messaging, high-impact advertising campaigns, and influential media relations for both MAC and the Sauga Arts HUB. She has also conceptualized, developed, and produced acclaimed programs in music, with a portfolio that includes Amphitheatre Unplugged, Next Gen: Singing Contest, Sauga’s Song of the Year—each designed to ignite creativity, amplify artistic voices, and celebrate local music talent. With over eight years of proven excellence in multimedia, communications, and campaign management, sharpened through key roles at Redbrick Communications and McMaster University, Sherri fuses innovative storytelling with strategic precision to deliver meaningful impact. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Multimedia, with a minor in Theatre and Film from McMaster University.

Sabrina Cunha is the lead Multimedia Designer at the Mississauga Arts Council, where she shapes the visual identity of over 30 programs, events, and initiatives each year. Since joining the team in 2020, she has been instrumental in executing MAC’s 2021 rebrand, designing a refreshed logo and visual system that aligns with the organization’s digital-forward Strategic Plan. Sabrina leads graphic design, video editing, and website content for MAC’s platforms, including SaugaArtsHUB.com, Mississauga’s go-to arts directory. She also develops and manages multi-channel social media content for an audience of 35,000, contributing to nearly 20,000 new followers over four years and generating millions of impressions annually. With an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Advanced Diploma in Art & Art History from the University of Toronto – Mississauga and Sheridan College, and as an Associate RGD (Registered Graphic Designer), Sabrina brings a thoughtful, community-driven approach to design to amplify Mississauga’s vibrant arts scene.

Kamila Yusuf is a digital marketing professional with a passion for content creation, storytelling and social media. She has worked across industries from video games, to global health, supporting everything from PR campaigns and press releases to social media strategy and community engagement. Previously, she supported communications in the video game industry and worked with international organizations like the United Nations and the Global Fund. Kamila holds two Master’s degrees— one in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action from Sciences Po Paris, and another in Public Relations and Digital Marketing from Media University in Berlin. She thrives at the intersection of culture, communications, and digital trends.

Television writer producer, former Citizen of The Year honouree, Board of Governors for the Living Arts Centre, Chair of the Tim Horton’s Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival, President and Founder of Mississauga’s Legend’s Row, Chair of Starr’s on the Credit fundraiser for Children’s Aid.

As a business owner in Streetsville, Jennifer offers her clients intuitive business consulting through empowering events & programs. She is a steadfast advocate for artists in our community.

CPA, CMA with 20+ years of leadership experience in the small business environment. She is committed to supporting the growth of Mississauga’s arts community.

Jung is senior counsel for a Crown corporation and values community involvement through her volunteer work.

A strategic thought leader, contributing to the overall direction of a growing organization. 

Brian is MBOT’s Corporate Relations Manager. He is a hands-on sales leader with over 25 years experience in Hospitality Sales. He is a skilled and respected marketing expert with an innate ability to develop and sustain strategic partnerships. Brian also has an extensive background in Hotels, Tourism, Meetings and Events.

Wendy is a Certified Cheese Professional, and has held a variety of industry roles including cheese educator, cheese monger and business development manager. Prior to a life on the wedge, Wendy earned her BFA in Art History, and has continued her connection and involvement with the community through a number of arts organizations across the country. 

Passionate senior leader, mom, mentor and arts advocate with a background in health benefits management, sales and account management who thrives in a collaborative environment. Christine brings over 20 years’ experience in facilitating partnerships, client relations and fostering an objective perspective to formulate strategies around existing and potential opportunities.

A CFA, Usman is Senior Director, Commercial Finance at RBC. He is extremely active, supporting community causes and community-building initiatives in Mississauga and beyond. He brings considerable experience building stakeholder relationships to MAC’s Board.

Founder of Creators at Play, a digital marketing agency specializing in the creation of original video content for a non-profits, charities, small businesses, and broadcast media.

A Physiotherapist and Crisis Responder with the national Crisis Text Line. Tracy has been an active community leader through her fundraising and volunteering efforts and enjoys her passion for music by singing both in a choir and a band. 

An accomplished event planner and sales and operations manager with more than 18 years of experience in overseeing highly successful private and corporate events — including fundraisers, galas, product launches, and receptions. Jason has an extensive background in theatre performance and television production.

CPA, CA who specializes in small business. Previous experience with non-profit organizations on board of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association.

Stephen was first elected as City of Mississauga Councillor for Ward 1 and Regional Councillor for the Region of Peel for the term 2018-2022. He was re-elected for the 2022-2026 term. He is long-time volunteer in the community and advocate for the arts and creativity.
