Our Programs and Services

Our programs empower creatives by enhancing their artistic and entrepreneurial skills, expanding their audiences, and fostering connections across disciplines. We support all major arts disciplines through professional development, live performances, exhibitions, and contests – helping the local arts sector thrive.

Sauga Arts HUB

Sauga Arts HUB is MAC’s online arts community, where artists and members can share their news and events with the public.

MicroGrants

MAC’s MicroGrant program provides funding for artist-led projects that create new experiences and bring awareness to the arts in our city.

The MARTY Awards

The Mississauga Arts Awards, also known as the MARTY Awards, are MAC’s annual award show honouring the artistic excellence of Mississauga’s artists and creatives.

TD Culture Lab is an educational series that offers valuable professional development learning opportunities to Mississauga’s creative community.

Seniors Arts & Music Series

The Seniors Arts & Music Series (SAMS) connects artists with residents of long-term care homes, providing meaningful creative experiences for older adults.

The Indie Filmmaker event series connects emerging filmmakers with established industry professionals through immersive panels, roundtables, and Q&A sessions.

Sauga’s Song of the Year Contest

Sauga’s Song of the Year Contest invites Mississauga singer-songwriters to submit their demos for a chance at recording and mixing the song at Metalworks Studios.

Amphitheatre Unplugged

Amphitheatre Unplugged is a curated, multidisciplinary outdoor open mic series in partnership with Mississauga Celebration Square.

The Beauty of Bees is an annual juried exhibition held at the Streetsville Pollinator Garden in partnership with Streetsville Bread & Honey Festival.

Cranberry Christmas Market

Cranberry Christmas Market is MAC’s annual curated holiday market featuring local artisan, craft, and food vendors, as well as holiday entertainment.

Arts for Business Directory

The Arts for Business Directory is a curated roster of local talent ready to elevate corporate events, team-building sessions, and brand activations.

ArtsCare

ArtsCare is an initiative developed by MAC to encourage and champion creative and social experiences as an aid for those suffering from mental health issues.
