Learn about Gigs and Grants coming your way this year from Mississauga’s leading arts engagers. New Grant streams, new Place Making initiatives that touch all artists, types and groups.

Mississauga Arts Council (MAC) and City of Mississauga’s Culture Division are delighted to co-produce an informative update for the arts and culture community about new music grants, project and operating initiatives from Culture Division, gigs and grants updates from MAC, the the Living Arts Centre (LAC) Feasibility Study, news about Mississauga Music Week, and more.

Join us at the Living Arts Centre at 6:45 for a meet & greet with colleagues and refreshments.

Presentations start in RBC Theatre at 7pm:

  • Culture Division presentation and update on: Cultural Districts; Music Strategy; Grants; Living Arts Centre Feasibility Study; the official re-opening of the Meadowvale Theatre and Small Arms Inspection Building.
  • Highlights from Music Week
  • Presentation by MAC with updates on upcoming MicroGrants, Murals with MAC, business partnerships and Professional Development workshops.
  • Meet some new faces including the Executive Director of the Art Gallery of Mississauga, Executive Director for the Port Credit BIA and others!

The evening finishes with a Q&A session and more networking.
