Project: Peace and Harmony through Poetry and Music
Peace and Harmony through Poetry and Music, launched by Anna Yin in May 2025 with support from the Mississauga Arts Council’s Matchmaker MicroGrant program, brought language and music together in bold new ways.
Working with a diverse team of musicians, dancers, and media artists, Anna fused Eastern and Western traditions into original poetic-musical works. The project produced fourteen collaborative pieces and sixteen AI-assisted experiments, shared through live performances, radio broadcasts, major cultural festivals, and online platforms across Canada and beyond.
Focused on collaboration, experimentation, and cultural dialogue, the project strengthened creative connections between poetry and music while promoting peace and artistic exchange. Many works are now available on Anna Yin’s YouTube channel and the Sureway Press website.
