Celtic Roots Concert – River North

River North has teamed up with Nurse Next Door Mississauga to present their 6th Annual “Celtic Roots” Concert taking place on St. Paddy’s Day – March 17th, In-Person at 2:00 PM at Clarke Memorial Hall and virtually 7:00 PM on River North’s Facebook and YouTube channels. This year the show will feature River North Matt Zaddy & Heather Christine along with some new guests including JUNO nominated Blues Vocalist Johnny Max, JUNO nominated Soprano Loralee McGuirl, Violinist Brigit O’Regan with Percussionist/Bodhrán Player Jacob McCauley and Mississauga’s Award-Winning Irish Dancer Molly Collins and friends from Michaela Hinds Academy.

15th Annual Dancing for the Compass

The 15th Annual Dancing for the Compass event is returning to Port Credit Legion on Saturday, March 26th at 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM). Little Peter and the Elegants will be returning to perform music from the 50s, 60s and 70s to support The Compass Food Bank. Two well-known Port Credit Musicians, Virgil Scott and John Bride will be joining the band on stage for the night! Proof of vaccination required, all COVID-19 protocols will be followed. AGM – Lotus of Thanks Art Auction

Art Gallery of Mississauga (AGM) is hosting an art auction in support of our front line workers. Weather-proofed works depicting gratitude and thanks from over 27 artists are being auctioned for a front-line organization. Should you win the bid, you may choose a frontline organization, company or individual person to whom you would like to gift this work, and your donor name plate will be added at the donation location. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Mississauga Foodbank.
